A Missing Angel

Note: A short and mediocre poem (or excerpt) with no title (originally), inspired by a song sung by Tavares, which I wrote back in Senior High School. The funny thing is that I found it inside the recipe book that I wrote since Junior High School. Addressed to no one, or perhaps, no one yet.

Heaven must be missing an angel

Missing one angel child because you are here with me right now

God would be mad, would he?

I wonder if it is okay for you to stay here with me

Of course, that is if you would like to stay

But then the earth would lose its beauty

And I would not know what to do with my life

If you are not here with me
